THERESA BORG
Director



Theresa Borg is a performer, writer and director. Her sung roles include Christine (THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA), Cosette (LES MISERABLES) , Jellylorum/Griddlebone (CATS) and Hope (ANYTHING GOES!) for producers including Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Company along with numerous roles for Opera Australia and Victorian Opera including Zerbinetta (ARIADNE AUF NAXOS) and Musetta (LA BOHEME). In 2014, Theresa played Fosca in PASSION for the Life Like Company. Theresa has written and directed over 20 family musicals. These include SCOOBY DOO LIVE: MUSICAL MYSTERIES and LEVEL UP!, OCTONAUTS LIVE: OPERATION REEF SHIELD, CHUGGINGTON: THE GREAT RESCUE ADVENTURE, SESAME STREET PRESENTS ELMO'S WORLD TOUR and ELMO'S SUPERFUN SUPERHERO DAY. These shows have toured nationally and internationally to the USA, Europe, across Asia and the Middle East. She has also remounted PEPPA PIG LIVE and PAW PATROL LIVE shows across the world, including the PAW PATROL LIVE! debut at Wembley Arena. Theresa also directed THE CONSUL for Gertrude Opera, LA CENERENTOLA for Citiopera, DISNEY UNDER THE STARS for Live Nation and Disney, THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA for Life Like Company and this year was part of the team that brought PUFFS OR SEVEN YEARS AT A CERTAIN SCHOOL OF MAGIC AND MAGIC to Melbourne for a record-breaking run at the Alex Theatre, St Kilda.



SUSAN-ANN WALKER
Performer



Susan-ann is one of Australia’s favourite character Performers known for her work in Musicals, Plays, Opera, Cabaret and TV over the past 30 years. Professional Music Theatre credits include FUNNY GIRL (“Mrs Strakosh” The Production Co), ONCE (“Barushka”…Green Room Award for Best Ensemble GFO/MTC), A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (“Gymnasia” GFO), XANADU (“Calliope/Aphrodite” Mark Pennell), HELLO DOLLY (“Dolly Levi” Magnormous), MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL (“Earth Mother” ), MAME (Agnes Gooch), THE SOUND OF MUSIC (“Sister Margaretta”GFO/SEL), GREASE-THE ARENA SPECTACULAR (“Jan” GFO/SEL), THE SECRET GARDEN (“Martha” GFO), GODSPELL, LES MISERABLES (Cameron Macintosh) and CATS (“Jenny-any-dots” Cameron Macintosh and RUC). Cabaret includes DESPERATELY SINGING SUSAN, JACQUES BREL (Green Room Award for Best Cabaret 2000), TRAGEDY, PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC, CONFESSIONS OF A SEX KITTEN and the very successful YUMMY and THE YUMMY BURLESQUE HOUR (Green Room Nomination for Best original songs) This year Susan-ann and Sally Bourne wrote and performed in SUBTLE. Susan-ann also originated and Directed the Cabaret Project in 2003 at Ballarat Uni and in 2010 at PSA. She runs her own Singing Teaching/Vocal Health studio THE VOICE PLACE and is a Sessional Staff member of MONASH UNIVERSITY in the Classical Voice and Contemporary Voice Departments.




MICHAEL DALTON
Performer



Born in the UK, Michael’s professional career began as a 10 year old when he played the title role in the 1980 West End production of OLIVER! (Cameron Mackintosh). Michael joined the a’cappella group THE PHONES in 1986, performing around Australia on stage and screen for three years. They were regular guests on The Bert Newton Show, Hey Hey It’s Saturday in the late 80’s. In 1990, Michael toured Australia and New Zealand with THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (Paul Dainty), understudying Riff Raff and the Narrator. In 1992 Michael moved to London and continued appearing in numerous productions of ROCKY HORROR across the UK and Europe, playing the role of Rocky. He also understudied Frank'n'furter, Riff Raff, Brad, Usherette and The Narrator. Michael toured with Julian Clary as back-up singer on his Australian, New Zealand and U.K. tours from 1991 onwards. He also toured with Richard O’Brien and DISGRACEFULLY YOURS to the Edinburgh Festival (1997) and The Bottom Line in New York. Since then Michael has worked steadily as a solo singer/performer internationally (UK, Europe, SE Asia) at various clubs, venues and corporate events. Highlights include solo shows at Oscar Wilde’s (New York), Madame Jo Jo’s (London) and Code (Copenhagen). Michael also appeared in the 1998 West End production of NAKED BOYS SINGING. In the late 90s Michael created the character Dolly Diamond, and has performed with her across the UK, as well as seasons at Chapel Off Chapel (2004-17), Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, Adelaide’s Feast Festival and Daylesford’s ChillOut Festival. In 2016, Michael starred in A DIFFERENT WAY HOME at Chapel Off Chapel to rave reviews. This production is also likely to tour Australia in 2018. Michael also starred in THE BUGLE BOYS at Chapel Off Chapel in 2016, a musical review that paid tribute to The Andrews Sisters.





PETER HURLEY
Pianist/Performer



Peter Hurley performs regularly around Australia in many different guises - he has performed for the A.B.C., with the State Orchestra of Victoria, as a classical musician with pianist Nehama Patkin, and with children¹s entertainer Franciscus Henri. To Melbourne audiences he has been a frequent performer at Arts Centre Melbourne, Chapel Off Chapel and a regular in the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Fringe Festival and Midsumma Festivals. His involvement with Melbourne Cabaret goes back to such venues as Mietta¹s and the Athenaeum. He established jazz in the venue now known as Bennett's Lane in the early 1980s, Prior to that, as a session and touring musician with various rock and jazz ensembles, dating back as far as Bette Midler touring in the late 1970s. His most recent reviewed appearances include LAUGHING BEHIND MY PIANO in the 2013 Melbourne Cabaret Festival, TOMFOOLERY, WIRELESS, IT'S ALL NEW BUT NOTHING'S CHANGED, THERE ARE BEARS IN THERE and A SNATCH OF MS. PENELOPE, both at Chapel Off Chapel and MAD DOGS AND FINLAYSON at Caper’s. For the last ten years Peter has been working regularly with Opera Australia principal Suzanne Johnston and with Judi Connelli (AM). Most recent national tours have been as Special Guest Artist in the Cole Porter/Noel Coward tribute CHEEK TO CHIC.





SEAN WEATHERLY
Performer/Producer



Sean graduated from the Flinders University Drama Centre in 2002 with a BA (Honours). He produced and performed in the sell-out season of TOMFOOLERY for the 2008 Adelaide Fringe Festival at La Boheme. He also produced TOMFOOLERY for the 2004 Melbourne Comedy Festival at Chapel Off Chapel. In Melbourne he has performed at La Mama in the world premieres of THE CHERRY UMBRELLA, THE EVOLUTION OF INCOMPETENCE and FRIDAY NIGHT IN TOWN. He composed for A NARROW TIME FOR ANGELS - THE MUSICAL for the 2011 Midsumma Festival. He currently owns and operates a successful Children's Entertainment business in Melbourne and performs regularly as NOODLES THE CLOWN. He has performed in many short films and had a guest role on UNDERBELLY SQUIZZY and also worked on THE PACIFIC. Other musical productions Sean has performed in include the Australian premiere of SATURDAY NIGHT with Magnormos and the world premiere of McCUBBIN at BMW Edge Federation Square. He has also performed SING YOUR OWN MUSICAL for several Adelaide Cabaret Festivals. He composed and was co-lyricist for PRICE CHECK! THE MUSICAL which he produced in 2015 at Theatre Works in St Kilda and at the Bakehouse Theatre and was one of Murray Bramwell's top 5 cabaret shows for 2016 in Adelaide. Sean would like to pay tribute to the late Michael Fuller who Directed and Choreographed the 2004 and 2008 productions of TOMFOOLERY with Loaded Productions.





BOB WEATHERLY
Lighting & Sound



Robert (Bob) Weatherly taught in secondary schools in South Australia for 33 years, finishing as an Arts Coordinator. He was Artistic Director on 17 High School Rock Eisteddfod Challenges (achieving 15 finals with four wins). In 2003 Bob retired as a secondary teacher and commenced working as a Production Manager, Stage Manager, set/prop builder and Technician with Patch Theatre Company. Bob was involved in many Patch productions and has toured extensively with the company nationally and internationally. Highlights were Patch's overseas tours to Children's Festivals in Singapore in 2003 & 2007, USA in 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 & 2015, Canada in 2006, New Zealand in 2009 & 2014, and South Korea in 2009. He has had major roles in Patch's eleven Playing Australia tours to over 70 venues throughout Australia In Australia he has worked regularly at the Sydney Opera House, Arts Centre Melbourne and Adelaide Festival Centre. He worked with Slingsby as Production Manager, on THE YOUNG KING for The 2016 Adelaide Festival of Arts, in The Myer Centre. He recently has designed lighting and sound for Independent Theatre's productions and has just returned from touring Patch's ME AND MY SHADOW to China and CRANKY BEAR around regional South Australia.
